RUBBER EDGINGS AND RUBBER KERBS

In order for the flooring made of rubber tiles or Flexizone rubber pavers to meet 100% safety requirements, it must be finished with specially prepared accessories – elastic rubber kerbs and rubber edgings. In Flexizone’s offer, you will find rubber edgings and SBR granulate kerbs, available in 4 colours: red, green, black and grey. On special orders, we can produce accessories from the EPDM granulate in any size and in any of the RAL 24 colours on offer.

Required addition of security zones

Flexizone’s edgings and rubber kerbs have been manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 1177, which concerns playgrounds and guarantees user safety. The accessory prevents elastic stiles and rubber paving stones from slipping. The Flexizone accessories offer:

  • milled top edges that prevent chipping
  • the possibility of adapting the thickness of the edging or the height of the rubber kerbs to the individual requirements, reducing the risk of injury in the event of impact
  • no fading colours due to UV radiation and exposure to weather conditions.

Yes. The kerbs are elastic to the point where they can be bent. This can also be used to form round areas.

Yes. The kerbs are flexible enough to be bent in any direction, also forming circular areas intended for e.g. a playground.

The edgings can be cleaned with water under pressure. Due to the technological conditions, the flooring dries very quickly and the water does not remain on the surface.
